Growing up in a large family, Reynolds was the seventh of nine children. He attended Bonanza High School and later enrolled at Brigham Young University, where he began to seriously pursue his musical ambitions.
In 2008, while still in college, Reynolds formed Imagine Dragons with Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, and Daniel Platzman. The album's success marked a major milestone for the band and established them as a powerful force in the rock music scene.
Following their debut, Imagine Dragons continued to release successful albums, including 'Smoke + Mirrors' in 2015 and 'Evolve' in 2017, each showcasing Reynolds' distinctive vocal style and the band's dynamic sound.
