Acts flagged only by audio-detection trackers or unofficial charts are not included, and neither are artists whose AI status we could not verify. Monthly listeners were read from public Spotify artist pages on October 25, 2026. "AI persona" means the public identity is invented; "AI-assisted" means a human artist or team says it uses AI tools.

Does Spotify label AI artists?
Yes, since mid-September 2026. Spotify shows an AI Persona badge on artists whose public identity represents an AI-generated photorealistic person, either self-disclosed or applied after Spotify's review, and leaves their music out of editorial and algorithmic recommendations by default. Human artists who only use AI tools are not labeled.
How many AI artists are on Spotify?
Nobody outside Spotify knows, and Spotify does not publish a count. For scale, Deezer said in 2026 that more than half of the new tracks uploaded to it every day were fully AI-generated. This list includes only the acts with confirmed AI involvement.
